As part of the Tallinn Old Town Days, a charity event will take place in Tallinn on Saturday 7 June. Cuckoo's nest 2025 - a procession through Tallinn's Old Town, and a petting zoo in Šnell Park throughout the day. The event, organised by the Estonian Society for Animal Welfare, aims to raise awareness about animal welfare and to call for responsible animal ownership.
The day will start at 11:30 with a gathering by the Šnell pond, and at 12:00 a procession of dog walkers and other animal lovers will start.
After the procession you can register Cuckoo's Nest Match Show 2025an informal dog show where dogs of all sizes and ages are welcome, regardless of breed or show experience. The day will also include free pet vaccinations and rabies shots, an animal quiz to test your knowledge and a chance to meet animal welfare organisations.
The Estonian Society for Animal Welfare is convinced that responsible animal husbandry is part of a caring and modern society. Käpakäki 2025 brings animal welfare issues to the public and gives participants practical knowledge on how to take animals into account at home and in urban spaces.
