The main goals of the association are the preservation of ethnic identity; the development of the language and culture of national minorities; and contributing to dialogue, mutual understanding, and tolerance between people of different nationalities living in Estonia. Lüra's children's and youth ensembles perform their dance and song performances on the Lahela stage.
