"Three Sisters" is a play that talks about powerful Nordic women, their tenderness, strength, heart and fears. Myths unfold into reality and the boundary between heaven and earth disappears. There is no right or wrong, good or bad, there is only a woman of flesh and blood in the bosom of righteous love
The project is based on aerial acrobatic tools (air ring and cloud swing) and acrobatic dance, which is interwoven with comedy and spiced with social criticism. All this in the fun nature and danceability of folk. When creating the play, the artists explored old Nordic traditions, focusing on the role of women in history: at home, at a wedding, in the sauna, and in society. What was one of the most desired women in the Nordic countries?
