The duo Paulina and Miia was born in 2020. The Kannel is a very special instrument for them, close to their hearts, something very old but also new. The duo's repertoire includes classical and contemporary music, as well as their own compositions, based on folk tunes from different countries. Paulina and Miia's music making can be described as spiritual and cosmic. The ensemble has won several prizes in international competitions in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Austria.
The concert will feature baroque music, original chromatic cello compositions, arrangements and improvisation. The programme will feature R. Eespere, J-Ph Rameau, M.Tally and others.
