The concert "Between the Rows - Visible and Invisible" is inspired by the most prestigious exhibition of the Book Year, opened in the Niguliste Museum, which presents the rarest relics of Estonian book history and gives an overview of the development of the written language and printing from the 16th to the 19th century.
Eyes and ears are the greatest helpers in picking up the messages of the world around us, but it is often the case that the most important things are hidden between the lines, and this can be in the lines of letters or the lines of music ... there is something to think about and listen to!
Ensemble Una Corda is an ensemble with a unique composition, consisting of three similar but different instruments - the flute (Kristi Mühling), harp (Katri Tikka) and harpsichord (Ene Nael). The ensemble will be joined on stage by the always radiant vocal virtuoso Kadri Voorand, with whom Kadri's own compositions as well as improvisations created on the spot will be performed.
The programme includes premieres of works by Mingo Rajandi, Georg Jakob Salumäe, Age Veeroosi, arrangements of organ works by Edgar Arro and free improvisations.
