Purpose and scope of the processing:
The purpose of processing your personal data is for the provision of a service, such as reserving your place on a tour or event and organising events. We only use the data of registrants for Old Town Days and tours to compile a list of participants for the event in question or to contact the registrant in urgent cases.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is consent, which is given voluntarily and can be withdrawn at any time, after which the data is deleted.

Organising tours and events:
For the purposes of organising tours and events, personal data (registration, provision of organisational information) will be processed on the basis of your consent given on the basis of the information collected through the contact form or the online application. In general, the following personal data will be processed: first name, surname, telephone number and e-mail address When registering for tours of the Estonian House of Representatives and the Riigikogu building, the data collected will include the data necessary to identify you (first name, surname and date of birth).

Registration for events:
The data of those who have registered for the Old Town Days tours will be used only for the purpose of compiling a list of participants of the respective event or, if necessary, for contacting the registrant. The data will be deleted at the latest one week after the event.

Recruiting volunteers:
Volunteering for the Old Town Days is done through the contact form. The personal data collected (name, age, e-mail address, telephone number) will be processed for the purpose of providing information and organising volunteer activities during the Old Town Days. The data will be deleted at the latest one week after the event. For statistical purposes, we keep information on the age ranges of volunteers.

Website visitor statistics:
We collect statistics about how visitors use our website. The purpose of these statistics is to understand visitor behaviour and to improve the user experience. Among other things, the following information is recorded about visitors: browser type and version, device type and operating system, IP address, length of session, pages visited and visitor location. The data collected will be used anonymously and will not be linked to specific natural persons. We use Google Analytics to analyse visit statistics.

Facebook usage statistics:

Capturing events:
Please note that photos or filming may be allowed at public events during the Old Town Days. These images may later be published on the website of the Old Town Days, in the media, in publications or in news reports about the events. According to § 11 of the Personal Data Protection Act, the obligation to provide information does not apply to public events that can reasonably be expected to be recorded for publicity purposes. There are no retention periods for such photographic and video material.

Rights:
If you consider that we do not have a lawful basis for processing your data, you may request that we stop, restrict or delete the processing by sending an email to info@vanalinnapaevad.ee. You can also request the rectification of inaccurate data at the same address.

The data is stored in a restricted folder in the city's Microsoft environment, which is accessible and used only by staff involved in the Old Town Days to carry out their work.
